Purpose
This policy sets clear guidelines for the proper use of social media by Picolab employees, ensuring their online activity does not impact the company negatively in any way. It is designed to protect Picolab’s reputation, inform employees of their rights and responsibilities with their presence in social media.
Scope
This policy applies to all Picolab Technologies Ltd. employees and provides the guidelines for the use of social media, blogs, and any online forums both during and outside of working hours. Employees are responsible for any online behaviour that impacts the company, and this policy aligns with other employee guidelines.
On & Off-Duty Conduct
Employees are expected to use proper judgment when discussing the company online, both during and outside of work hours, as anything shared online can be publicly accessible. Any inappropriate social media activity, whether during work or personal time, that negatively impacts Picolab may result in disciplinary actions. Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to:
- Posting inappropriate images, videos, or comments related to the company or employment.
- Disclosing any confidential information about the company, its employees, or partners.
- Presenting yourself as an official spokesperson for Picolab without proper authorization.
- Sharing false or harmful information about Picolab, colleagues, or clients.
- Posting content that may be considered offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate while representing the company.
- Posting or sharing any company-related content that violates the community standards or guidelines of a specific social media platform.
Legal Compliance

Disciplinary Action
Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Any deviation from this policy must be approved in writing by management.
